D15 For Workers. For Families. For Detroit

Voters Approve Minimum Wage Increases Across the Country!

On Election Day, voters in 5 states – Arkansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Alaska and Illinois — approved measures to raise the minimum wage. Nationwide, people realize that $7.40 just isn’t enough to support a family.

Before the Fight for $15 began, raising the minimum wage wasn’t even an issue. In such a short time, we’ve brought this issue to the forefront of discussion – and we are winning. Legislation in Seattle and San Francisco have approved legislation for $15/hour. As long as we stick together, we will win $15/hour and union rights FOR ALL.

I support Detroit workers who went on strike. Every job in Detroit should pay a living wage.
