Petition for Higher Wages

Rent. Car insurance. Health care costs. Our bills keep going up, but sometimes our paychecks barely cover the basics. And if Michigan politicians get their way, big businesses and downtown developers will be getting $1 billion dollars in tax handouts — even while they threaten to take our Medicaid away.

But across the country, people like us are coming together for healthcare for all, a $15 minimum wage, good union jobs and safety and justice for our neighborhoods.

We can win good wages and healthcare right here in Detroit, but to build power, we need you with us. Please sign the petition: We need good union jobs, $15 an hour, and healthcare for all in our communities.

About Fight for $15 Detroit

People all across Detroit are coming together to fight for healthcare for all, a $15 minimum wage, good union jobs and safety and justice for our neighborhoods.

We refuse to let politicians keep our wages low and threaten to cut Medicaid — while giving $1 billion in tax handouts to downtown developers and big corporations.

The Fight for $15 has already won higher pay for over 22 million people all across the country. We know how to fight back, we know how to win.

And here in Detroit, we won’t stop fighting until ALL of us get the pay and quality healthcare that we deserve.
