D15 For Workers. For Families. For Detroit

Seattle becomes the first US city to adopt $15 minimum wage!

Congrat’s Seattle!

This week, history was made. Seattle became the first city in the United States to adopt a $15 minimum wage. This will provide an economic boom, as $100,000+ workers will receive the raise, adding $3 billion that will be put back into the economy.

Seattle won’t be the last city though. Currently, preliminary talks have begun for $15 minimum wage in Chicago as well.

We won’t stop until $15 is the minimum wage in Detroit and all across the United States. What do you think $15/hr would impact our communities in Detroit?

I support Detroit workers who went on strike. Every job in Detroit should pay a living wage.
